Nearly a hundred workers from all sectors of the economy in Morón, participating as delegates in the Municipal Conference of the CTC, debated with a critical spirit and revolutionary will the balance report on union action in the territory in this last stage. Aspects such as low productivity and non-exploitation of productive capacities in some sectors, as well as high prices of the main inputs, together with poor budget execution, were reflected in the central report of the conference.
In another part, the report reflects that the correct use of payment for high performance is not achieved, as a form of recognition of effort, an issue where the union must propose, claim and demand, as stated in the regulations.
The lack of preparation of new union leaders, deficiencies in the System of Decorations and Honorary Titles are pointed out at the Conference as a deficiency in all the unions of the municipality.
In the debate on the report, several workers presented their points of view on essential topics, as did the Doctor, Master of Science, Ricardo Gómez Carro, when referring to the importance of Ideological Political Work.
“We must not cease in the development of values formation, not only of leaders, but also of workers, through better functioning of the administrative and union management structures. To do this, – he said – it is necessary to look for ways to increase the training of values, and continuously monitor this objective”.
Related to this aspect, the Nursing graduate Iván Arias Rodríguez intervened, who believes that together with the lack of resources, it is necessary to raise the demands, do what corresponds to us, as the only alternative to win this difficult battle.
The report generated several reflections that showed the desire of the union movement to eradicate distortions that hinder the economic development of the territory, and in this regard, Omelio Carvajal, member of the Municipal Bureau of the Party, when speaking, referred to the need to work to break economic barriers. , with convincing, wise and strategic actions
Irilexi Morales Fajardo, administrator of the MiPyme known as El Pino Atrevido, requested the floor to point out that progress is being made in the efforts to make contracts with Socialist Companies, and said that in these new forms of economic exercise there is still a lack of empathy and understanding.
“If all MSMEs and Local Development Projects joined forces, contributed to the most emerging needs and fulfilled union commitments, the results would be noticeable,” she said.
At the proposal of Niurka Ferrer Castillo, General Secretary of the CTC, Irilexi Morales will attend as a delegate to the Provincial Conference, to be held soon, due to her support for the work of the union movement.
Through the direct and secret vote of the delegates, Yahima Pérez Cepeda was ratified as General Secretary of the CTC in the Morón territory.
