The start-up of two Children’s Houses for Early Childhood children in the Popular Councils of Patria and Turiguanó, yields in a short time a magnificent experience for the Education sector and the Turiguanó Livestock Company, municipality of Morón, in Ciego de Avila, due to the benefits that they contribute to the workers of both sectors.
In the midst of the current economic situation, both Education and the livestock entity defied adversities and in a short period concluded the adaptation of the conceived premises, through the unity of action to achieve an objective of high social benefit.
The Luces de mi Patria Children’s House accommodates an enrollment of 32 children, children of Education workers, who until then did not have possibilities for the care and attention of their small children.
Liset Romo Morales, deputy director of the Roberto Zamora Special School that lives in that Popular Council, states that her grandson Leidel Llanes del Sol enjoys his stay in the new Children’s House, while his mother Daniela del Sol Romo now feels favored and he can fulfill his commitments as a teacher at the Frank País Polytechnic.
Something similar happens in Turiguanó where the opening of the Casita Principitos de Celia welcomes an enrollment of 12 children, where they are also cared for by a team of two educators, a teaching assistant, and food services, with careful attention to infants.
“When we found out that Educación en Patria had managed to open a Children’s House, we here in Turiguanó challenged the challenge and said Yes We Can, we selected the location and got to work and so with that push it was inaugurated on April 10, on the occasion of the anniversary of the creation of the Children’s Circles”, said Luis Alberto Nieves, director of the Livestock Company.
This livestock entity has the important effort of a considerable number of women on different fronts, currently very happy to have a place where they care for their little children.
