A notable decrease shows the collection of milk to the Morón Dairy Combined, caused by the lack of food for the cattle that in the current stage is insufficient, given the scarcity of rainfall.
Currently the industry receives about 16,000 liters of the emulsion, a figure that is not enough to face the different production processes that are carried out in the entity.
According to details of Dany Zayas Bicet, commercial executive of the dairy facility, the lines corresponding to the production of ice cream, natural yogurt and processed cheese are in operation, while the one destined to the manufacture of cheese and yogurt for tourism shows difficulties due to the lack of of raw material.
She also noted that the milk repeatedly shows acidity because there are conservation problems due to situations with electricity, which causes delays in the distribution of food.
