Natural and traditional medicine becomes an important option in the municipality of Morón in Ciego de Avila, as an alternative with wide popular demand to alleviate the shortage of medicines.
An outstanding contribution to the production of these medicines is represented by the farm belonging to the Cítricos Ceballos company, directed by Félix Aragón Rodríguez, who was in charge of producing medicinal plants due to their relevance for the economy in the face of the shortage of medicines.
16 years ago I have been in this task, just after my retirement, I have managed to supply the natural medicine laboratory of Morón, in addition to fulfilling all the production plans assigned to me, of the 19 types of plants that are grown on this farm. he commented.
On the farm, which is attended by the Base Business Unit, UEB, Los Quemados, we have a variety of plants, including oregano, linden, aloe vera, red mangrove, the wall, and others such as holy cane, especially those used to combat respiratory infections, said Aragón Rodríguez.
