The Jardines del Rey destination exhibits a renewed graphic identity ahead of the XLII FitCuba 2024 International Tourism Fair, with the aim of perpetuating the brand and gaining visibility, with a more colorful image and greater visual force, which goes beyond the Sun and beach tourism.
In just over three decades, the emporium, located in the north of the province of Ciego de Ávila, offers an image that is the result of successive maintenance actions to show a modern place, which is constantly rethought and adapts to the changing context.
“The signage tends to be simple, natural, with dynamism and a characteristic color, without the lavishness, vividness and luminosity characteristic of large urban or city tourist destinations,” said Luis Alberto Pérez Olivarez, director of the Provincial Services Company. Communal.
“We have put up – he specified – new identification signs on the Coco, Guillermo and Paredón Grande keys, in addition to the revival of the wooden signs that guide visitors to reach hotel, non-hotel and tourism support facilities.”
He recognized the effort and quality of the work carried out by workers from Communal Services and the Cuban Fund for Cultural Assets, including the artists who restored those distinctive elements of the Jardines del Rey roads.
The completion of the walk of love, the conditioning of the landscaping at the Cayo Coco roundabout, the photographic stop and the advertising billboard, with the iconic phrase pronounced by Commander in Chief Fidel Castro: “Here you have to throw stones without looking ahead.” », are also among the jobs.
Along with these works, the local representations of the Ministry of Tourism (Mintur) and the Gaviota Tourism Group carry out maintenance actions to ensure beauty, comfort and quality of services in hotel and non-hotel facilities.
The celebration of FitCuba 2024, from May 2 to 5, becomes an opportunity for tourism development in that destination, with more than 24,000 rooms, and the improvement of non-hotel offers as a complement to the sun and beach modality, so fundamental, in the expansion of nautical activities as a leading product.
