According to statements by Ramón Santander Espinosa, Director of the UEB Marketing of Tourism in the territory and acting director of Dairy, today about 27 thousand liters are needed for distribution and the collection only reaches about 16 thousand, which is why it is significant. the difference in the figure and the impact is evident.
“We have had to draw up strategies, we are working so that, as far as possible, the milk can be distributed and reach the town even if it is at off schedules. We not only depend on the raw material, but on transportation and fuel,” he explained. .
“Despite the late arrival of the product, we are committed to ensuring that it arrives with the required quality parameters. We are in a critical stage, since the raw material is essential for production. There are no cheeses or yogurts for tourism, everything is concentrated on the basic basket and in the prioritized centers,” argued Santander Espinosa.
