When presenting the report, the member of the Political Bureau and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, stated that Cuba will continue to promote the construction of an increasingly free, democratic, fair, supportive, participatory and socialist society.
He reiterated his country’s solidarity and support for the Palestinian people, and condemned Israel’s indiscriminate attacks against civilians and UN workers in the Gaza Strip. The bombings of hospitals, ambulances, schools and the massive destruction of homes and road infrastructure constitute collective punishment and a serious violation of international humanitarian law, he assured.
