The Committees for the Defense of the Revolution, CDR, are celebrating the 63rd anniversary of their creation and this organization in the Avilanian municipality of Morón carries out a variety of activities to celebrate the date.

Liliannys Rosales Fernández, coordinator of the CDR in the territory, said that since August 30 they have been part of the 10th Congress, to be held this month, and the anniversary.

“Among the actions we are carrying out are the voluntary work days, the cleaning and sanitization of the Popular Councils, together with Health, we support the investigations since the CDRs are linked to sustainability meetings to combat diseases” , he commented.

“One of the most important tasks that we have fulfilled are voluntary blood donations, they have already been carried out in the Patria Popular Council, in the La Serrana community and in Turiguanó. We have also encouraged everyone who has a little piece of land to participate in the Cultiva tu Pedacito day just as we participate in planting cane; and together with INDER we do community work in vulnerable communities such as El Mambí and La Rosa,” argued Rosales Fernández.

“The organization reaches its anniversary with a strengthening process since the structures of both the CDR and the zones have been completed, especially with the incorporation of young people. As a priority of the municipality, work has also been done on the detachments Looking at the Mar, which are two, one located in El Mambí and the other in La Loma, as well as the creation of surveillance detachments in conjunction with Guardafronteras to confront crime and illegalities,” he explained.
