As part of the improvement actions in the communities and the fulfillment of the political plan for a #JanuaryDeVictorias according to the current political moment, a meeting was held at the Abel Santamaría Cuadrados primary school in the Avilanian municipality of Morón, where the El Vaquerito Popular Council was the protagonist.

Delegates from the different constituencies and their sponsors participated in the meeting, Celia María López Reyes, president of the Assembly of Popular Power in the territory, Yorky Navarro, Mayor of the city, Tania Esther Benítez Martínez, president of that Popular Council, among others. , led by Livan Izquierdo Alonso, First Secretary of the Party in Ciego de Ávila.

Topics of great importance to the community were addressed, such as: the main problems and concerns and the relationship of the constituencies with the assigned sponsors, the current situation with electricity and the need to save energy, revolutionary surveillance, the epidemiological situation in the Council, blood donations and activities scheduled on the eve of the 65th anniversary of the triumph of the Revolution.

“With the aim of improving life in the community, we are carrying out several actions such as the repair of roads, the repair and maintenance of family offices, the recovery of the sports area for enjoyment and recreation, the cleaning of the El Roble canal , the incorporation of the area to the route of a local bus for transportation,” explained Tania Esther Benítez Martínez.

“With respect to the 65th anniversary of the triumph of the Revolution, our Popular Council has prepared 23 activities, including the cleaning and beautification of the community, activation of the Clic brigades with children, given the current energy situation, and blood donations where Today we have 35 voluntary donors,” argued Tania.

“It is vitally important to emphasize vulnerable families, what can be done by specialized organizations together with community factors and sponsors to help these people. With respect to revolutionary surveillance, we must take care of and organize by constituencies the surveillance system, if we take care of the neighborhood, we are taking care of the Revolution,” said Livan Izquierdo Alonso, First Secretary of the Party in the province.
