The candidates for deputies to the Cuban Parliament for the Avilanian municipality of Morón, the musician Arnaldo Rodríguez Romero, and the delegate of constituency 70 of the Popular Council of the Homeland, Mayelín Luis Pérez, began this Monday a tour of the territory to exchange with residents, managers, students, workers and people in general.
In the Martí park in Ciudad del Gallo, several Moroneros, in the presence of the candidates, were able to see a broad portrait of the life of both candidates that makes them worthy representatives of the children of this land to the country’s highest legislative body.
The small delegation, which was also made up of the highest authorities of political and mass organizations in the territory, thus began a tour of institutions of education, health, culture and services, as well as the different communities in order to exchange with the people.
The first visits made were to the Rey Gallo cafeteria and the Buena Vista Club, facilities belonging to the Grupo Extrahotelero Palmares, where they were able to learn about its operation and chat with several of its workers.
As part of the tour, they also visited the Caonabo Museum where they witnessed the historical-cultural heritage that this important Morón institution treasures, and they were offered a detailed characterization of the municipality from a geographical, economic, demographic, and cultural point of view. In addition, they visited the archeology and history rooms in which they checked the valuable collections of the museum.
At the Rafael Morales Pedagogical School, the delegation was received by all the students and teachers of this educational center who were proud to receive those who will represent them in the parliament of our country.
The candidates for deputies to the National Assembly also visited the Morón hotel, an emblematic tourism facility belonging to the Islazul chain. There they received an overview of the services provided, both to national and foreign clients, with emphasis on all the activities that are scheduled to celebrate the day of love.
The tour was extended to the productive areas of the De la vida local development project, where its main manager, Yunet Pérez Pérez, explained to the candidates the process for the production of toiletries and the short and medium-term projections.
The tour of the candidates for deputies to the Cuban Parliament through the Avilanian municipality of Morón, Arnaldo Rodríguez Romero and Mayelín Luis Pérez, will cover objectives of economic and social interest in popular councils such as Patria and Turiguanó.
