The initial presentation was given by Gihana Galindo, commercial director of the Ministry of Tourism, who presented the potential of the Cuba destination.
Galindo highlighted that Cuba offers unique and different experiences, “as it has an unparalleled cultural wealth, a wide network of theaters, galleries and recreational nightclubs, among other offers of interest.”
Iyolexis Correa Lorenzo, delegate of the Ministry of Tourism in Ciego de Ávila, commented on the main tourist attractions of the Jardines del Rey destination.
This is a tourist center with numerous attractions, located in the eastern region of the Sabana-Camagüey archipelago, the largest of the four that surround Cuba.
It also has the first engineering work of its kind in the country: the causeway, a 17-kilometer road, built on the sea, that connects the keys to the municipality of Morón, on the northern coast of the main island of Cuba. .
During the covid-19 pandemic, Jardines del Rey maintained its operations, which is why it has experienced sustained growth. For this date in 2024, the destination reports a 4% growth in the number of visitors.
