The group of workers at the Morón Fingerling Center in Ciego de Avila, after the recent visit of President Miguel Díaz-Canel to that entity, took on in the last few hours the challenge of reviving the production of fingerlings with the implementation of new strategies in the work system.
With new motivations, the group is committed to putting the nearly 80 hectares of ponds into full production, to reach the proposed numbers of fry and plant them in the existing dams in the Avilanian territory.
“To achieve this, we have proposed to activate the technologies we have, with a knowledgeable worker group willing to turn around productive results, and we have been making progress in this in recent months,” say executives of that Base Business Unit.
As explained to the President of Cuba Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez when visiting that important productive enclave, for this year they have the commitment to provide 78 million fingerlings.
