Just one week before the mercenary invasion of Playa Girón, on April 10, 1961, at the direct initiative of Vilma Espín and Fidel Castro, the first three Children’s Circles were inaugurated in Cuba: the Camilo Cienfuegos, the Ciro Frías and the Fulgencio. Oroz.
At a distance of 63 years, the Children’s Circles extend throughout the country as an important Early Childhood Educational network, which favors the incorporation of the female force into production and services.
In the municipality of Morón, there are five Children’s Circles and another that is under construction in the Popular Council of Turiguanó, in addition to the opening of four Children’s Houses, methodologically attended by Early Childhood educators.
A few hours before the 63rd anniversary of the creation of these institutions, a municipal event will be held this Tuesday in Morón at the Círculo Tiernos Capullos, where the contribution of the groups in such a noble task will be recognized.
