With a party overflowing with joy, where the artistic and cultural talent of children, adolescents and young people stood out, representing their respective Educational Institutions, the International Students’ Day and the beginning of the Educator’s Day were celebrated in Morón.

The celebration was held at the Alfredo Álvarez Mola Basic Secondary School as its municipal headquarters, a center that is undergoing a process of aesthetic and environmental transformation with the efforts of its group.

The floral offering that the students dedicate to the National Hero José Martí arrived at the National Site of that institution, carried by Elisnay Olivares, a Fourth Year student studying Pedagogy; Mérida Ramírez González, educator with a career of forty years and Gonzalo Guerra Borroto, founder of the Alfredo Álvarez Mola Secondary School.

The students demanded an end to the bombings against the Palestinian population and evoked the figure of the historical leader of the Revolution Fidel Castro, a few days before the seventh anniversary of his physical disappearance.

The interpretation of patriotic and traditional melodies such as Cantares and Yo soy el Punto Cubano, dances and choirs and the performance of numbers from the Rayitos de Sol Children’s Circus, complemented the activity among applause and ovations.

The occasion was opportune for the recognition of the Tiernos Capullos Children’s Circle and the Marti collectives that are the Ignacio Agramonte Semi-boarding School, the Raúl Gómez Special School, the Roberto Rodríguez Secondary and Pre-University School, and the José Antonio Echeverría Peasant Worker Faculty.

Present were Rolando Valle de Posada, Vice Mayor; Yoleisy Valdés Santiago, General Director of Education in Morón and representations of community factors.
