There are numerous problems that the municipality of Morón faces in environmental matters, generated, fundamentally, by the irresponsible attitude of human beings, the lack of material resources and the little perception of the risk that destroying the environment in which we live means.
This was commented by the Master of Science Daylon Fundora Caballero, environmental specialist of the territorial sub-delegation of CITMA in the province of Ciego de Avila, who also pointed out that among the most pressing issues is the Laguna de la Leche, considered by many to be the waste treatment system liquids in the territory.
Fundora Caballero advocated the creation of new projects associated with the natural resources of the municipality, which immediately contribute to increasing the health of the Great Northern Wetland of Ciego de Ávila, with the aim of guaranteeing the natural function of this important ecosystem.
The specialist warned that if the necessary measures are not taken to face and reverse all the environmental problems that the municipality of Morón presents, a vital ecosystem for the survival of the human being in this territory could be lost due to how much it contributes in all orders of the life.
