An unfavorable situation is presented by the Avilanian municipality of Morón due to the number of Aedes Aegypti mosquito breeding sites detected, with possible incidents in the transmission of Dengue virus after the insect bite, according to reports from the Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology of the territory.
The rains of the last few days, frequent at this stage, contribute to the proliferation of foci, plus the negligence in the residential sector due to the absence in many cases of the family autofocal.
Norman Gutierrez Villa, director of Hygiene and Epidemiology in the territory, confirmed that there are several serotypes of Dengue in circulation, with the greatest enhancement for two and four, so everyone’s cooperation is required.
He emphasized the need to redouble efforts to prevent the proliferation of Aedes, as well as contributing to the members of the respective Public Health brigades that visit neighborhoods and communities.
