The strengthening of local management and the impact of new economic forms on the environment constitute essential objectives of the Municipal Environmental Strategy in Morón until 2025, in line with the new legal provisions that are implemented throughout the country.
Likewise, environmental regulation governs its precepts in the improvement of the investment process, especially in the keys to the north of the territory where important works for tourism are undertaken.
To achieve the conceived objectives, decision-makers also take into consideration the efficient use of renewable and non-renewable natural resources, with a savings policy that allows their rational use.
In the territory of Morón, there is political will aimed at confronting illegalities and social indisciplines, with the purpose of mitigating actions in accordance with the dangers, the degree of vulnerability and the existing risks.
The Municipal Environmental Strategy is part of the result of a planning exercise carried out by the Capacity Building Center of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment, CITMA.
