The call to celebrate May Day generates a positive atmosphere in workplaces, student groups, Popular Councils and other institutions through decorations, placement of mottos and slogans and response to participation in the parade for International Workers’ Day.
For this Tuesday, the holding of a municipal plenary session is announced with representations of all the unions, who will generally present their initiatives to give color to the respective blocks.
Meanwhile, work is being done on making fabrics with mottos and slogans, as well as banners and other elements that will identify the different groups in the massive May Day parade.
“It will be a massive parade, as a sign of proletarian unity and in response to the call of the Cuban President to revive the economy and eliminate distortions,” said Yahima Pérez Cepeda, general secretary of the CTC in this municipality.
