Yeren Guerra Quintero, Music Instructor at the José Maceo Basic Secondary School, in the community of Patria, in the municipality of Morón, captivated the group of students in his classroom by teaching a class based on a tour of the arts of my Homeland.
With her magical art as an experienced teacher, Yeren imaginatively transported the nearly 25 students in the group to the time of Abdala, managed to transpose Martí’s poetic vision and ensure that everyone interpreted his brilliant patriotic and independence thoughts.
She is a young teacher who teaches Artistic Education, and inspired by her vocation, she delved into a journey through the arts of the country, with emphasis on Cuban popular theater.
Her presentation to the students concluded with the evaluation granted by a jury made up of Instructors, Methodologists and Specialists, who granted her the status of Principal Specialist, in her categorization process.
