Various control and inspection actions are carried out by working commissions of the Popular Councils of Morón, with the objective of verifying compliance with the measures proposed to correct distortions and boost the country’s economy.
In the Southern Popular Council of Morón, a popular control visit was made to the Acopio establishment, to analyze, among other aspects, matters related to the distribution and application of product prices.
Ana Fidelina Martínez, president of that Popular Council, reported that this popular control revealed the need for Acopio managers to review the contracts with farmers and producers and urge them to increase production in different areas.
In that Popular Council, the Acopio establishment supplies four State Agricultural Markets, and consists of 18 districts.
