At present, the peasant sector has a great commitment to feeding the people, since a large part of the implementation of the food sovereignty and nutritional education program promoted by the country falls on its shoulders, given the crisis that affects the entire planet.
This was confirmed by the president of the National Association of Small Farmers in the municipality of Morón, Froilán Luna Viamontes, who assured that, although the expected results have not yet been achieved, little by little the municipality intends to move forward, a reality that is evident from the new normality with the increase of some productions.
Luna Viamontes expressed that, despite the difficulties, the Morón peasants work tirelessly and tirelessly to get as much food as possible from the land, knowing the importance of their work to guarantee the people’s food.
This is an effort that should be supported much more at all levels, not so much through material resources, which are practically non-existent, but through decisions that can give rise to great benefits, one of which will always be the recognition of a sector that he deserves and needs it.
