Lazara Hurtado, director of the center, summarizes in brief synthesis her achievements and avatars when she says that today they have an enrollment of 42 semi-internal and 17 external students, in addition to five outpatients and 78 included in primary education.
In the institution, which prepares children with developmental delay, autism and Down syndrome, the high human sensitivity of the collective prevails, and deep feelings about the treatment that these children require, especially for the way they manifest themselves and ways of acting.
The school has the important mission of preparing them for life, so they have workshops where they receive basic technical, agricultural, domestic education and crafts, with the purpose of creating skills that allow them their future development, Hurtado said.
