They develop balance meeting in scientific institution of Morón

With the presence of Rafael Pérez Carmenate, provincial delegate of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment in Ciego de Ávila, the biannual balance meeting of the Bioaliment Research Center, CIBA, scientific institution of the municipality of Morón was held.

The main fruits of the six projects developed by the center, two of them linked to national programs and two to the Life Task, the participation in scientific-technical services, information and social communication policy, the overcoming of Human resources, awards achieved during the period, thesis advice and the publication of articles in specialized journals.

In his speech, the provincial delegate of CITMA in Ciego de Ávila referred to the new challenges that await this group of men and women once they become part of the Environment Agency, with new forms of work and a new corporate purpose which taxes directly to the protection of the environment, in the midst of climate change that must make the process more complex.

He also addressed several essential points that should mark the work of CIBA in the coming years, taking into account the needs of the country, such as the need to strengthen the strategic sectors defined by the National Assembly of People's Power and the highest direction of the country, depending on the nation development.

In addition, he advocated to work even more with regard to integration with universities taking into account that in these institutions of high studies more than 70% of Cuban science is generated, on which the future depends as predicted by the leader of the Revolution Fidel Castro.

Finally, Pérez Carmenate referred to the collection of the relay through the implementation of the resolution that regulates the regulations of the Scientific Reserve that grants the authority for the recruitment of students in universities since its third year which It would guarantee the future of research centers throughout the country through the earlier and more effective integration of these young people into science.
