This was confirmed by Iliana Núñez Morales, general coordinator of the socio-cultural community program of the National Direction of the Nicolás Guillén Foundation, who directs the meeting in the company of Orlando Hernández, economic advisor, Tania Domínguez, international collaboration advisor, and Roberto Rodríguez, economic director of the Cultural Institution.
The Yambambó project has many potentialities for the socioeconomic development of the community and, according to the organizers, its influence can already be seen in the lives of the inhabitants, fundamentally in everything concerning the spiritual and cultural growth of those who come to this community space.
The Yambambó project has a long way to go in order to contribute to change the community of Tuero, and although there are several threats that operate against it, such as the socio-cultural and economic situation of a large part of the population, and the absence of cultural institutions that hinder the quality of life of those who live there, there are many more opportunities and strengths for the community to become the pride of all its inhabitants.
